Rewarding the people that stand out in the hospitality business; that's what it was all about at the Q1 2008 Stars of the Industry Award Ceremony at Blues Café at the Avila Hotel on June 4th.

Representatives throughout the industry were nominated by their employers; from hotels, restaurants, dive operators; a diverse cross section of the industry was represented. In total their were 19 (!) people who were awarded for their outstanding work and dedication. The winners were presented with a certificate by CHATA, and give 400 extra Miles on their FunMiles PRO, the hospitality card account.  The FunMiles PRO card is a special employee benefit card initiated by CHATA, for everybody in the hospitatity industry.
